Nico’s Steak and Chop House is designed to accommodate our neighborhood with great food, excellent service and a chic, relaxing environment. Nico’s is privately owned by retired NFL pro football player, Robert “Griff” Griffith, and his wife, Amethyst Griffith.

Taking influence from the couple’s lives, Nico’s has infused life and energy, with a little love into their traditional cuisines and southern root dishes. They have incorporated a downtown-like atmosphere into Nico’s while offering neighborhood prices.

Griff believes his health and longevity in the NFL are due to eating healthy, flavorful foods. Growing up, he remembers the smoked meats his father would cook for him and his family. He saw that food brought families and friends together and now with Nico’s, he aims at bringing his community together.

On a typical evening it’s not uncommon to see Griff relaxing with his customers, introducing new recipes, and offering transcendent food for all to sample. Griff believes, "Nico’s dishes should be healthy yet affordable and our menu, comprised with palatable meats and chops, complimented with an array of wines and spirits showcases these values."
